Accessibility

Accessibility is how we design.

Gridmark Partners is committed to digital accessibility for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 standards — and we hold this site to the same standard we bring to our clients' work.

Our commitment

We design and build public-facing experiences to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accessibility and digital equity are a launch requirement for us, not an afterthought, and accessibility is one of the services we offer to the agencies we serve.

What we build in

  • Semantic HTML landmarks, a single h1 per page, and logical heading order.
  • Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, full keyboard operability, and a skip-to-content link.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1; we never rely on color alone to convey meaning.
  • Meaningful alternative text for images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form inputs with associated labels, and errors announced to screen readers.
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, with no essential information conveyed by motion alone.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We test with automated tools and keyboard-and-screen-reader review, and we work to identify and resolve barriers as standards and our site evolve. If something here falls short, we want to know.

Report a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site — or need information in a different format — please contact us and we will respond promptly and work to provide the information or service you need.

Email: hello@thiswaay.com
Please include the page address and a brief description of the barrier. We aim to respond within a few business days.

This statement reflects our current commitment and will be updated as the site and applicable standards change.

Let's find the signal.
